Slippery Rock Lacrosse
As of last night, Slippery Rock's men's club lacrosse team has been ranked number one in the country for d2 in the ncll (http://ncllax.com/index.php). Slippery Rock's lacrosse team, led by captains Andrew Smykowski (goalie) and Brad Allen (attack) are undefeated this season with two games remaining this season. Slippery Rock's men's club lacrosse team faces bitter rival Cincinnati on Sunday at Wally Rose field located behind Rhoads Hall. The team has already clinched a play off spot and at the end of the month will travel to Richmond Virginia for the national tournament. Come show your support for Slippery Rock's men's lacrosse team Sunday, it's the biggest game of the season.

Heck yes cousin. You can count on it being one heck of a ride for us. It's etremely exciting that out of all the teams in the nation SRU is ranked #1. It kind of puts that mind set in that going into the national tournament we are going to be considered the team to beat. This Sunday's game is going to be a tough one against Cinci but as long as we maintain our focus and are able to execute are gameplan we should take care of business. I hope that we get a nice side crowd this weekend I would hate for the students at SRU to miss the opportunity to see a dominant team dominating....winning(Charlie Sheen Voice)
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on the number one ranking that is truly amazing! It is awesome to see our school's varsity athletics program excelling as well as our club teams. I know you guys will crush the bearcats on Sunday and I wish you guys the best of luck. Unfortunately I will be away this weekend and will not be able to attend the game, but you all are ranked number one for a reason so go out and win and represent SRU!!!
